What was it again?

Well my old topic when past the 2 pages. Anyway what do you have to enter in the target box for BF2 when you want it to start at a specific resolution? When set to fullscreen 1 it tries to start BF2 at 1280x1024...which BF2 dosn't support therefore it results in a CDT pretty much right away. I want it to start from 1280x960. What do I enter instead of fullscreen 1?

i duno but id like to know this aswell my computer auto streches for a full screen resolution all i have to do is leave it at the default 1200 by 800 i believe altho this proves problematic on some games like PRMM which crashes when its like that so i have to run it at 1600 by 1200

I run it just fine at 1280X1024 everything on high. Mostly I run it at 1600X1280, because I am a graphic junky, but like I said never had any problems with resolution, could be your monitor doesn't support the resolution or refresh rate you have set.

You sure you don't run it at 1280x960? I don't even have the option in the vides settings for it. All other games I run at it though.

Well anyway on "fullscreen 1" it tries to start at 1280x1024 (my monitors highest resoution) I had this problem before as well....and someone told me to add exactly to start it at 1280x960. It worked. Noow I re-installed BF2 and ned to do it again.

VideoSettings.setResolution 1280x1024@75Hz

Yeah but your not logged in when you start BF2. Theres kind of a default resolution it starts in before you log in...which you have to change in the shortcut or w/e. Where can you change the default?

hmm. Well if you mean altering the resolution parameters vi the shortcut to the bf2.exe???

then you will need the following added on the end:
+syx 1280 + szy 960

so in total it will look like this:

BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +syx 1280 + szy 960

Hope thats what you mean. if not then i have no idea, sorry.
