An odd bug...

Ok, I went playing 0.5 just now and joined the TB Al Basrah. I clicked Join Game, but when I got into the game, there was no spawn menu to choose, what and where to spawn, I just stood there looking at the mosque.
This has happened to me before, and the only way to fix it was to reinstall BF2 completely, all patches, all mods, because it occured not just on PR, but also vBF2 and other mods.

Now this bug is just plain crazy. Anyone know whats causing it??

Happened to me twice, only thing I can remember doing around that time was I installed non-critical windows updates. I eventually had to re-install windows to get my game back.

Well, I rescued my pr folder in /mods/ directory, then went to My Control panel and choose to Modify the BF2 install...then dragged the pr folder back and went playing, and it worked...still a weird bug, though

Well, still occurs only on 0.5 TB Basrah...I went playing today and had to bring up the console and type "renderer.drawhud 1" to get my spawn screen up and join the battle. Couldnt revive the nametags, so I didnt even know, whos who
