Alaskan cruise pictures.
I did an impulse buy on a Nikon D40 two days before my cruise and it's my first DSLR. I was on the MS Noordam from Holland America Line. Started in Seattle and went Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, and then Victoria, BC.
On to the pictures.  Seattle, WA.   A look around the ship.      Vintage compass.   cool picture? :dunno:  935 feet of ship  Crystal ball that would spin and change colors in the Atrium.  wtf Keltec?  Dolphins! |

Our first destination, Glacier Bay.
Beautiful landscape      Nice spotting scope.   This is what happened to the face of the glacier.  Now it's a big chunk of ice in the water.  Another Holland America ship, the MS Statendam Our first port of arrival, Juneau, AK.  MS Noordam  Mount Juneau  Mount Roberts Tramway Whalewatching. $100 per person:nono:   |

  It's cool how the Bald Eagle is relaxing up there.  Mendenhall Glacier Second port of arrival, Sitka.    The Prospector statue.     The Pioneer Home  Saint Michael's Russian Orthodox Cathedral.     Lots of Russian influence and heritage. |

   Saw this in the parking lot. Rolls Royce? :dunno: Hoped you guys enjoyed the pictures as I did. I'll be out on Thursday heading for Toronto. (Hoping to get good city photos.) |
