Advanced Air-toAir missiles and guided bombs
Although not realistic....this is rather cool. Missles are now extra smart...and even if they totally pass you or your target they will turn around and still follow. The normal bombs were made to seek armor on the ground...so there not nessecarially "dumb" bombs anymore. Make sure to check out the videos.

Aha! I knew it!
Why would you post at spiked humor anyway? That's right, I saw you! There's only one solodude23 on the eeenternet and he was posting there! Bleh. On topic... Great find dude! My opinion is that each individual weapon should take time to learn, including flying a plane. It should be very difficult to avoid a heat seeking missile when you have already used your countermeasures. It would mean that you could only rules the skies if you truly know how to fly. You would have to memorize where AA emplacements are on maps and strategically fly to either avoid them, or have a good place to out maneuver the missiles. That guy did an amazing job. |

Anyway I noticed the missiles travel very slow now, too. Probably makes it easier for them to track so presicly. (spelling) Maybe a code like this would work good for a SAM site of some sort. | |

I would start crying if i had one of those rockets after me...
I do like how the LGB worked against the tank. |

arent missiles actually pretty manouverable IRL? maybe not to that extent seen in the pics and video but obviously much more so than in BF2?
On the history channel yesterday there was a piece about missiles and it showed them going after drones. one of the drones flight paths was nearly perpandicular to that of the missile (at the time it was fired) and a clean hit was still scored. I think doing whatever this guy did to missiles, but with faster speeds, adding a proximity fuse if possible and giving pilots more countermeasuers would even out the role planes play in the game, which would be to keep eachother off the backs of their teams infantry. |

Yeah sounds good BA, I would sure love it. And yes missiles are definantly more manuverable and trustworthy in real life than in BF2. That is unless in real life they have a 80% chance of veering off from the target in the last second and hiting a friendly instead.

haha or just arcing skyward.
This would probably help us solo, considering the other day we probably set the record for most times spawn raped by a jet. ...now all we need is for that damn artillery to go away.... |
