WWII Online. Try it yet?

I would still be playing it, but not financially stable enough to pay 10-15 a month atop of overpriced shitty cable internet.

Just had these screens laying around, thought i'd show them off.

As you can see by first screenshot, its an ever evolving game. Some trees and bushes are incredibly high detailed, but also to the left, a crappy line of bushes that are probly already replaced.

Me hiding from zee panzer.(heart pounding)

Pilots doing their things. high contrast of scary birds of war, their shreeks, and beautiful trees swaying in breeze.

Me checking out new structures/skins for damaged urban area.

A common sight.. allied holding up inside the bunker after germans successfully invaded the city.

Whole german army knocking on our door, loudly.

SOOOOoo. Thats all i have of my own screens... Would have better ones but im usually so pumped or distracted by piss running down my leg that i forget to take pictures.
Most exciting and terrifying game ive ever played. Will make you get drenched with sweat constantly, if you're frontline/spearhead type player.

I was interested in it when it first came out in 2001. A friend of mine bought it, tried to play it but was super buggy. I eventually tried the demo I think in 2005 when they finally got the bugs out. Man i gotta tell you the concept is fantastic but I guess I'm graphically spoiled...WW2 on-line just looked cut out and pasted, that's hard to over come. But those that play it and love it, say it's not about the graphics, it's the scope. So may I say it's somewhat similar to a huge FPS virtual board game?

This is the one I've been waiting years for:

I remember trying it out a while ago. I remember shooting at a clump of four pixels off in the distance while hiding behind something that might have been either a truck in camouflage or a tree. It also seems like the kind of game that's no fun unless you dedicate yourself to it, and find a bunch of people to play with.

Aircraft were somewhat fun, though. They felt very much to scale, and it was kinda cool, flying over little friendly troops below, who were actual players.

It would also be super-laggy

I tried it for a while, but it's hard to really enjoy it without comitting time and join a squad.

No, and it's way too ambitious to ever see the light of day.
