hardly but I'm going to reply anyways.

This topic is fecking stupid for lack of better words.

FH2 and PR are not in compertion, we as devs get on fine, we help each other team out on the editor forums and we respect each others mods. Its the stupid players that think there is a "war" between the mod teams and go about making such a fuss that the fans do create a war.

PR and FH2 are VERY diffrent mods, they are both set in very diffrent time scales and we both have diffrent objectives of what we want to achive as mod teams. Yes FH2 is going along the lines of "realisum" but they do not go as far as us with realisum with long respawns and stuff like that to make players value there lives more. each mod is very diffrent and players will play each mod for the things that are diffrent about each other.

As for how the PR and FH2 player numbers will go, I really dout FH2 is going to kill the player base, infact in the long run I see it increasing the PR player base. God knows how many posts we saw on these forums saying "DCon is going to own your mod so bad!!" and look what happened to there mod when they released? did they kill PRs player base? the awnser is no, infact our player base has increased in the time scale from when DCon released. DCon have as much in common with PR as FH2 dose if you compare that DCon and PR are both moden warfare mods, but DCon is "arcady". Both mods offer very diffrent things for each player and players will play w/e mod they choose cos of thous diffrences.

The PR and FH2 player numbers will go something like this.

1. FH2 releases there mod, PR player base will have a dermatic hit in this area, I'm sure all the devs here will be getting there hands on FH2 as soon as they can, I know i will and so will all the PR players to give it a try, which every one should!

2. after afew days after release, palyers will make up there mind if they like the mod or not, most will do it in the first few hrs of playing if they do not. This is the area where the mod will reach its "player peak" point when they have the most players playing there mod.

3. after a week +, most players will be going back to vBF2, or PR or w/e game they came from, but alot will probaly stick on and play FH2, most will play both games from this time on.

4. Player base settels for both mods where PR will be back to its normal number.

5. saying next time we make a new PR release, again we will then have it starting from 1, but only on the PR side of things

EDIT: also going to lock this topic before it turns into a flame fest, + its stupid and DreadNaught117, you can exspect a ban comming your way for telling an R-PUB to shut up + for making a pointless topic that can only encorage flaming.
