Anyone from the UK do any sort of live round shooting?

Just interesting to see if anyone does practical shooting, mini rifle, or full bore etc..

I'm thinking of getting into it.

I applied for a shotty license got it applied for a 22. rifle license didn't own enough land to have one

I mainly use it to blast clay pigeons use my trusty 22. airrifle for hunting.

You can just be a part of a club, that seems to be a valid reason for owning one.

I'm looking at the Ruger Mini 14 in .223, straight pull, not Semi Auto.

wats the age over there for gettin a gun license? here (or at least in IL) its 18 for rifles and 21 for pistols

You have to be 2+ for a shotgun license just need to be supervised and have to borrow a shotgun. For 22. rifles its different, the reason i didn't say i was part of a club is 1. i don't like to shoot around others puts me off 2. I cba with all the payments and stuff.
I really want a 223. rifle

Btw, Pistols are banned here no exceptions.

u can own a shotgun at 12 i think but u cant buy 1 till 18. i think

i was in a club for a while shooting .22

E; i'm the best shot in my atc squadron by far.

i go shootin with ccf, free easy and a bloody great time with u mates ^^, also the guys safe, he always has a brew on the go O.o

6 days of shooting coming up in a fortnight with my OTC annual camp. Gonna be shooting L85 (obvioustly) and pistols, TM gonna try and get us some gimpy's to fire to

you can have a shotgun at 12+ you just need to be supervised by an 18+ with their own license when shooting, you can't go out by yourself until your 18 (and have license odviously)
