im bored, tired and i have to give a presentation tomorrow regarding the following topic:

Metaphysical Issue, how our view of the world has changed form the age of enlightenment to the present.
(has to include Newton, Kant, Nietzesche, Dostoyevsky, Darwin, Chaos Theory etc)

thoughts anyone, lets see what this community of 'mature' gamers can think up :P

Sorry I am currently lacking the domestically produced herbal aromatherapy performance enhancing illicit combustible material required for such a discussion.
But since I did post here....perhaps the amount of time and effort that is spent currently trying to eliminate philosophical thinking and replace it with either rote obedience or science based reason, leaving little room for balanced introspection on the greater meaning of things.

But then again ......On the other hand, I fail to see the logic behind expecting reason on subjects like these from an fellow who likes to be called "Armed, Drunk & Angry

it is precisely the Armed Drunk and Angry part that attracted me to post my philosophical conundrums since most people that i have to study are either drunk or angry (i dunnot about the armed part)

Just go with Nietzsche's existentialist rant about the old God being dead, long live the new God, and sum up by pointing out that all Metaphysical (conceptually subjective) thought is universally cyclical and just leave it at that. Or come up with an original thought and become the scion of neo enlightenment.

I gave a presentation tonight on the inustices of the Cuban trade embargo and my teacher told me that one of the kids who watched mine told her that it was like watching a really smart teacher
