Emulators/ROMs

Anyone know where I can get bundles of ROMs so I don't have to DL them all separatly?

Also does annnnnnnnnnnyone know of a working turbo grafix 16 emulator and roms to go with it? i cannot find one for the life of me, and i really loved my turbo graphics that i had as a kid.

SNES emulators are actually legal for some reason. I believe it's a loop hole or something.

i seem to rememeber nintendo making the snes library open for some reason...dont quote me on that but maybe a year ago or something...

They are not illegal. If you have owned the game/rom you are downloading its legal I think.

it's legal anyway since the rights aren't claimed anymore afaik. the same happened to many old computer games. i don't know if they have ROMs, but check www.abandonware.com if i remember the URL right.

it's not illegal. at least not to my knowledge, I also heard the SNES stuff is 100% legal as well. If it is illegal, please notify ninetendo =P

To my recollection:

It is legal to have a back up ROM if you own the original game and console. If you do not own the original game you are allowed to keep the ROM on your system for upto 24 hours.

While, in all probubility no one will do anything about it, if you dont own the original game it is illegal to have a ROM of it.

Thats the general rule. There may be differing ones reguarding the SNES if nintendo have released thier library.

Oh, General Joker, again, the vast majority of Abandonware is illegal, however, no one really cares, so it doesnt matter too much.
