You must have the Ati card fitted in your machine as they test your machine to see if it is present.

You can register the offer to one account and one account only. There is a possibility you could register it on a mates machine and then go home to your nvidia machine and login to your account and see if it works for you? (I accept no responsibility if this doesn't work!)

Steam accounts generally aren't tied to a particular machine, so in theory it could work.

Either way, if someone can take advantage of this, I recommend they do. You can run most, if not all HL2 mods if you have HL2DM on your account (which sucks by itself). There are some great HL2 mods out there, and personally, I play more of them than I ever played of HL2, HL2DM and CS (*vomit*)... kinda like with PR.

please list names of the mods you can run then.

I thought you needed the core engine to play the mods. This sounds better and better!

Yeah Lost Coast was free as was DM unless they are saying you can get this without having HL2?

Yes, these two modules are free for everyone with an Ati card installed when they go for the download and a you simply login to a Steam account to link the two modules to.
