on the newest patch for vietnam they realised that the M60 with 3 LAW 72's was a bit of an advantage so the 60 was changed for a M14.

Don't you mean the released version? As opposed to "newest patch" - but yeah, that was really bad, everyone chose that kit, cause you could practically snipe with the M60 it was so accurate. They ended up swapping it for the M14 and putting the M60 with the grenade launcher (good), as well as making the M60 so inaccurate that it was practically unusable, talk about overkill.

Haha I agree, the infantry side of that game got better but they handicapped the chopper horribly in that same patch (rockets were fired one at a time, requiring a reload every time)
