MSN : block offline members messaging you?
i'm fed up of lazy buggers not showing online to me and then messaging me as "offline" when they want something.
Is there any way to block the receipt of offline members messaging you, to teach them better social habits? |

But that blocks them all the time, I just want to turn off "offline" messaging for a bit to educate some people into how to behave like a human being

Doubt there's a way to do it.
I sometimes do it if there's someone I can't be arsed talking to. |

Aww... I always do that on every possible IM. I also do it on every possible forum, except this one, where staying invisible is impossible (so I just log off). I also use my answering machine to screen calls (and I have callerid on top of that).

I was thinking when I saw this topic earlyer in the day that "hummm, i never get this normaly".
Then just now, just had some guy talking to me in I think french, said english about 5 times and he kept on sending the same messages and wasting my time so i just blocked him (he was on apear offline btw).

I hate MSN... my wife just bugs the tits off me from the laptop if I'm ever on it (she's usually in the living room at the time and she knows I'm online) I then get a "Why aren't you answering?" shout when I don't answer her messages offering sex if I give up PR.
I mean, WTF? Can't a man get peace? In answer, MrD, I don't think you can but there may be a plugin. Now; where's my love camouflage....... |
