So, nearly 3 months later, I'm getting a new car..

Got the insurance check, came out to about $19,000. Need to find a nice used car. Been looking at the Sonata v6 3.3L version, looks nice, has great safety, and puts out some respectable HP... 'Rents have been pushing for a civic, but we haven't gone out to test drive yet.... got any ideas? Tryin to stay below 40k miles.

Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our perceptions. What we perceive depends upon what we look for. What we look for depends on what we think. What we think depends on what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality.

Well there are a wack of cars out there, what do you want out of the car? Do you need 2 or 4 doors. Performance or comfort?

The sonata has some good reviews. The Mazda 6 supposedly handles well but it's V6 doesn't really deliver enough punch compared to others in its class. The Altima V6 is probably one I would suggest looking into, good handling, comfort and the V6 in it is one of the best in class. I'm a big Subaru fan, you could look into a Legacey with the 2.5 Turbo which is going to run with the V6 cars easily. But if you have more specifics I could suggest some others.

Cheers,

Close your eyes and imagine some really cool military picture, or better yet a really funny picture in this space. I said close your eyes damnit!

UPDATE:

Parents decided to toss a few hundred in and go from a used Civic we were eyeing to a brand new 07 Civic LX, so lucky me.

So far the car is damn nice... Only complaint is the lack of power ports.
