I would point out that CoS has a reputation for squashing those who criticize it.
If any thread should be locked to protect PR's interests it is this one.
BTW: Just about every religion has a bunch of shit just as unbelievable as Zeno Xenu w/e T F his name is, so if you bash one for lack of credibility then you bash them all.
Except mine of course, because mine is different.

Anyway, yeah, they're pretty screwed up (even more so that the average religion). But If they didnt exist, they'd never have been parodied in Fallout 2 and that would mean I'd have to not simply nick high tech ammo from thier patrols! The Horror!

But thats probubly not a valid reason for keeping them around (as fallout 2 has already been made), so yeah, I'd say the world could definelty cope without them.
