*Top sobs quietly* I have read wiki, asked friends, teachers and looked at one of their websites i am still in the dark and i am pretty sure, horribly confused and i give up, i have no intention at the mo or in the near future of trying to get my head around this apparent nonsensical and wacky STUff

All i "know", (lol to "") is that evolution and god can sit side by side, for me well that is and as a great man once said: "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." , help me if that some how connects/supps with Scientologies ideas *shackes head to bastards who like hijacking good things and who confuse TC*

I don't pretend to follow the math but the 8th day thing makes sense.
Like the tradition of eating with one hand and wiping your ass with other or not mixing dairy with meat or not eating pigs....all common sense things ascribed to a higher power so people will obey.
Lots of atheists types whine and cry about religion being a tool of control but who says control is a bad thing ?
Like anything else common sense, moderation and a healthy skepticism will win the day.
Granted ....applying those principles to CoS is mighty tough and personally I don't care for them because of the BS treatment they are giving 9-11 victims.

And why not worship it for it gives us everything we need and it never judges us it just is.
And get this everyone there are Billions and Billions and billions and billions of them through out the universe face it we are all of us solar powered and made of star stuff .

Me thats who! control is a definate bad method in this day and age especially when used for another persons (group of persons) benefit ( Patriot act!!!!!)
The fundamental reason for religeon is a simple law which human beings should follow (10 commandments) which i do agree is not nessesarily a bad option. But when shite spouting puppets like Bush and the Labour party ( mainly Bush) use this as a way of dividing the world into good and evil factions then i get irate. PLUS since when have the police stuck to the basic rules set by the 10 commandments? Instead they offer bollocks laws in which a peodophile can get the same sentence as a man(or woman) caught with one spliff. Justice? an absolute joke, however im not laughing.

Control when dictated by complete fuck-wits is a bad idea. Period.

We shouldn't have the Patriot act.
If terrorists want to plan attacks on the US it's their constitutional right to do so.

The people who benefit from the Patriot act are you and I and every other citizen in our countries. The patriot act is part of what stopped the plane bombers last summer and what stopped the morons in NJ a few weeks ago.

Control is needed otherwise touchy-feely types ( no names you know who you are ) would decide things based on how they feel.
What happens when children are not taught self control ?
They become little brats and eventually end up in jail.
What happens even this little world of the forums when there is no control ?

Control is needed and of course since control is in human hands and humans are fallible there will be mistakes.

The inequity of sentencing is outrageous in this country also as regards sex crimes and abuse of children, but again that falls at the feet of the touchy-feely crowd that returns abused children to the homes of abusers and tells us we must understand the reasons that some sicko molests a child.

Well, before people could explain weather or the sun and whatnot everyday, there did used to be some sorts of "weather gods" and "sun gods" for some religions in the past. Then once science proved otherwise they pretty much disappeared. Quite obvious that religion in the past was always used to explain the unknown and still is to this day.
