is this for HL2 : Source package install then? Their wiki is missing a definitive statement there.
edit : 20mins later I found the answer, you need HL2 installed. Damn, I got suckered out of my HL2 purchase when the serial was "already in use" and they refused to do anything about it |

Yeah I hate that. Also don't like that you can't just "give away" your copy either -- it's a perminant link to your account. Good move in some ways for Valve, but overall I didn't like the whole steam thing.

i played this for a bit and IMHO the latest version of Goldeneye Source is much better quality.
This was fun, but I was lagging like crazy with a great ping. I wasnt the only person either. |
