ArmA Demo!

I'm going to DL the combat operations demo tonight or tomorrow, and I have two questions can I play with you guys online? Or only with other people playing the demo, and about how good do you think i can run it?

I have an AMD 3500+, radeon x850, 2x GB of PC3200 RAM, can I run all mediums? highs and mediums?

you can only play online with people who have the us demo (like me)
your computer will run the game on low setting (like mine)

That makes me sad that I can only run lows, because I have the most powerful computer in my apartment =(

I think you can do higher than low...the guys a foo (unless its a demo restriction). Arma has same min spec as bf2

It runs much worse, though.

I have..

Pentium 4 3.00GHz
2 GB DDR2 RAM
Evga 7900 GT KO 256mb (OC'd to GTX speeds)
X-Fi Xtreme Music

..and I run with pretty much everything on low. I don't mind though, because it still looks pretty good, and the game itself is so damned awesome (when playing with a group of people you know on TS).

Here's the problem. From what I've heard, everybody says that the demo does not do the full game justice. I can't comment, because I've had the game since late Nov. (Czech copy) and haven't had any desire to play the demo since I have the full game The game itself is amazing, but the demo isn't too great. Their are "other" ways of aquiring it (you can play online too), or, you can take the advice of myself, Katarn, Atlanta, Caustic, Sawyer, Jaymz and Desertfox, and get the game.

Damn! Now that I have a job, video games are eating up my money! CoH, HL2, now this! If anyone can help me acquire the game it would be much appreciated!

the price will go down soon. it wont sell alot in america so in a month it should be $30 or less

Don't warez ArmA. Support BIS for all their awesomeness. I got it new on day of release for £20 (about $40) which is cheap, even for a PC game. Buy it!
