i saw it and all i have to say is WOW.
that is a good show, there was some amazing things i saw the Americans do in that it realy makes you think about the soldiers and how much they realy do and how much they Deserve to be honored and respected for all that they do. it showed alot about the war and how great are soldiers are and more. |

yeah Shootout is a good show, i saw both the guadalcanal and the falujah episodes. watching the falujah shootout did the same thing for me as it did for worst, it reinforced how no matter what your views are on the war those soldiers and marines over there deserve all the respect you can give them. it really made me feel bad how theyre over there fighting and sometimes dying for a war that was sold on unsolid grounds.

yeah i agree with you brokenarrow. im glad the hippy movement is dead and people are mature enough no matter what their veiws of bush, war, and religion, the majority of the population wnats those soldiers HOME!
Its also very patriotic, even though it doesnt try to come off as it in anyway, it makes me want to join the marines and feel that comradery of being brothers in arm... but then im like... eh ill just hop on the TacticalGamer server and meet up with some buds. Best line i think ive heard on shoot out "some think the opposite of fear is courage... the opposite of fear is love, and my marines love eachother to death" ***EDITED*** I remembered the one about baghdad, in the city of Al Kut i think it was (please dont harass if i have this one mixed up with fallujah), the marines were supposed to attack the city, but had to stop for 2 weeks for some kind of political thing, this gave the forces there had time to prepare, so what they did was create rat holes in almost all the walls. since the way architecture is there, its a few buildings a courtyard and a concrete fence around them. So thy have these rat holes, then in buildings they have weapons caches, so between each rathole, you have a room with ak47s, grenades, RPKs, RPGs, so what they would do is attack us soldiers, when the fighting got hot, drop their weapon, run to the next rat hole, and grab a new weapon. |

War to day is controlled to much by the media and politics. Too may people think war is civilized and noting really bad should happen. Its not good that war is like this but when we people are appalled that were killing people and that there is a small amount of collateral damage, and they all complain how were fighting so we stop to make them happy and is costs American lives. War should be fought by the army not by the media things like al kut or fallujah would not happen. We should to all that we can to help Americans fighting not hinder and bring as many as we can home.

If you want peace, prepare for war! Honestly! Peace is nothing more than a silence and obedience to power. At least one country has to stand on top at all times for their to be peace. I personally have many relatives, brothers, cousins and such over there...I support them 100%! I do not doubt the war much at all...because if that is what it takes for there to be a roof over my head, food in my fridge and a safe place to bring childern in this world then by all means I support it...so I do support WAR not any inparticular one...just the general idea. It is something you have to respect and accept as it is part of nature, to be safe you have to be on top, or join those who are.
Packs of wolves fight, different schools of fish fight, and humans fight...it is nature...life...it is necessary! I wish I saw the show...but I was having a great time with my girl w00t! |

war is unfortunately neccessary but it needs to be used very sparingly, obviously people arent always going to get along, and every now and then someone has to throw a punch or two. i just think that every country needs to be responsible about throwing those punches, in going into iraq again, we were not. the government of the US misled, or at least tried to mislead, the coountry itself and the entire world. all for a vendetta the president had for saddam.
now dont get me wrong, saddam was NOT a good guy, but removing him the way we did was obviously not well though out and the way the administration plays everything off like it was part of the plan while more people die is huge disrespect to the soldiers and, if anything, endangers the lives of americans (and any citizens of US friendly countries) even more. |

The president doesn't decide everything....the choice of war passed through MANY hands before even reacing his attention. Honestly. I don't get why people think that this one guy actually runs everything...and TBH we got the info about the WMD from England.
