We like to not get killed by some crackhead as well.
It's a semi-secret national shame that our capital is such a crime ridden sh^thole that reelects a crackhead mayor.

I love guns. Everything from the sound to the smell to the feeling of holding one.
BUT THIS BEING OVERTURNED WAS A VERY BAD THING!!!
I live inside the DC beltway, and all I ever get to read about in the paper (Washington Post) and on the afternoon news is about how many murders, carjacking, police shootouts, and robberies happened that day in DC.
That is the last place that they needed to lighten up on the gun laws. You can try and plead your case about how now everyone can protect themselves and their families, but your full of it. How do you think all the guns got into the hands of the crackheads (and mayor) in the 1st place. Most of them from lawful purchases that were then stolen or resold.
This just means more bodies and more news coverage, which leaves less time for sports news.

I think that was just the handgun ban in DC, I was talkin about the national gun ban... Iono if it is the same thing, but this is still a step forward.

Or it could lead to lowered crime rates as it has in other municipalities that have allowed more gun ownership.
Mostly it's a victory for the NRA and Second Amendment proponents.
