A high number of nature documentaries, with a significant number being very well presented and filmed, from Britain, is one of the few really decent things about TV in the UK and one, that we can be actualy proud about.
Did you know David Attenborough is 81!! He is doing jolly fine for his age, however sadely i hear he is retiering from presenting nature documentaries very very soon. Any replacement has alot to live up to, or will we ever be able to find one????!!!!! |

The Planet Earth series is incredible.
The stuff you learn is incredible and the camera work is second to none. 4 year time lapse in a jungle, wow. |

Well Planet Earth came on tonight, three in a row. What a doc.
Sigourney Weaver narrates very nicely, goes perfectly with ST. I wonder if the HD broadcast was top quality, any comments? Would gladly buy the original in HD, would like to hear Attenborough too. Worth a bump I guess. |

My roomate was watching Cops all night =( I missed it.
I'll probably buy the DVD at some point, or I'm sure discovery will have some kind of encore presentation. Anyways that's funny they "re-release" it in the US but in a different order.... with weaver narrorating? I wonder why they went through all that trouble? |
