Default To Catch A Predator: Entertainment at it's best

For anyone who hasn't heard of this, it's a recurring special on NBC's Dateline called To Catch A Predator. Basically people pose as young kids in chatrooms and lure in sick pieces of shit to a house where they are interviewed and then arrested.

What amazes me is how many predators know of the show and how many don't even seem surprised when they are caught. I guess the risk of losing family, friends, work, freedom, and integrity is not greater than taking advantage of a child.

Best thing on TV EVAR; justice is served, you get to watch creeps squirm, and it's entertaining as hell.

Thanks luizinhuu for the find

It's a stupid show and Chris Hansen is a wanger.

I like the fact that those guys won't be able do harm to any children, though.

There's no way that they would ever be allowed to show this on Belgian tv. Criminal stuff like this and commercial TV programs should be kept as far away from each other as possible.

It is an incredibly stupid show. Law enforcement shouldn't be done by "news" organizations. It should be done by the police. If there's this much online predation, then there should be much more *real* sting operations. Not some wanker looking good for the camera asking pervs what specific kinds of sick shit they were planning on doing to the 12 year old they planned on meeting.

This is shock TV. A sad commentary on the state of American television viewership.

It's frightening how many of these people there are out there.
This should be happening all over, constantly.
Take all the cops busting kids for weed and give them a computer.
But I don't know how good it is to make it so public because the smarter ones will get more crafty to avoid stings like this.
I would be interested to see what the sentence these guys get for this.

In Britain some paedo's and murderers were set free because there were no prison cells..... disgrace.

Whattttt, that's really fucked.

I have to agree this is entertaining, but I really think more needs to be done if this is such a huge problem. It might as well be reality TV "which of these three men will abuse a 7 year old and win $1,000" seriously.

If you are entertained by that just go to www.pervertedjustice.com.

You don't think that this is a good preventative measure? Obviously this show is well known to the point that these idiots know exactly whats going on half the time so it's safe to say word has gotten out about this. Thanks to this show many pedos are well aware of sting operations and it's no doubt that many are now too afraid to try to meet up with their victims. By making this program public the problem is being attacked at the source. I won't argue that it's not just shock television but I really don't see the problem with that anyway. Jackass, wildboys, cops, and countless other shows are all shock shows but are very entertaining just like this.

Yeah, but that's entrapment and the person would go scot-free... bit pointless

PS - who's the fit bird?
