America IS a seriously fucked up place. There's lots of reasons not to go there. I've been here for a little over 2 weeks now, and from the part of America that I've seen I'd NEVER move over here. I've met really nice people, I really have, but the education system sucks, other places are much safer, there's more poverty than where I live etc. etc. etc.

Still, this problem exists everywhere. Even where I live, in The Netherlands, it's a problem. It has less to do with the country than you think.

Well, I don't know why but it's not a problem in Portugal hehe. Maybe it's the different culture or something but our kids don't get in such troubles. (At least not that I heard off).

Yeah, there's definetely a difference between countries. The problem is probably much greater in the USA anyway. I know from visiting a school here for two weeks that all the kids ever talk and think about is sex, and they screw like rabbits from what I've seen and heard. Loads of teen mothers as well.

In Portugal (and The Netherlands) the problem is probably much less than in the USA. But it still exists. I'm sure it exists in Portugal as well, even if it doesn't get any attention.

WE do have a high teen pregnancy rate but I would think the Pedo's are in every culture.
I would also like you to remember that most European countries will fit inside a fair sized US state and your population is equivalent to major city's metro area.
For example, where I live.........
Netherlands= 16,491,461
compared to
NY= 19,254,630
NJ= 8,717,925

That changes things somewhat.

We also have that F'd-up Puritanical background that seems to breed so many perverts and weirdos.

Yeah, I guess that's pretty much what I was saying.

Interesting fact, in the last elections in NL a new party tried to join called the PNVD (translation of the non-abbreviated name: Party for Family Freedom and Diversity *very loosely translated*) which was more commonly known as the Pedoparty. One of their biggest shockers was their plan to lower the age at which it was legal to have sex with someone to 12.

Just thought of that when you mentioned Pedos are in every culture. It's true, they really are.
