This is really stupid. They're inciting the "criminals" to do something they would never have done in the first place.

In Portugal such an operation would by illegal and the policemen in question would probably face criminal charges.

America's legal system is crappy to say the least.

P.S.: In Portugal, internet chat logs would never be admissible in court.

Man. Horatio is the single reason I don't like CSI Miami. In every other way, they're the best CSI. Better locations, hotter extras, better camera work, more interesting story lines. But Horatio's lame one-liners and stupid cowboy act are so irritating I just can't stand to watch.

It's not entrapment.

They would have done the same to a real 14 year old.

As far as I know, these men approach the young girls on the chat room.

They aren't forcing these guys to do something they wouldn't do under normal cicumstances.

It's not entrapment if someone pretends to be a 12 year old and you start hitting on her and trying to sleep with her.

Do you live in the U.S.? If you did then you'd know that it's a very serious problem. This show didn't just spring up out of nowhere, it was a response to kids getting involved and sometimes abducted my child predators. So in short, yes it happens and yes it's problem.
