Ati 7-1 catalyst drivers causing some of us issues.

owners of high end cards inc myself noticing white triangular glitches, owners of old cards like 9600xt types are getting coloured artifact lines streaming off from figures.

Going to try rolling back to 6-12, but how many other people have been noticing issues with Ati 7-1 drivers too?

that's why you go with the big green machine.

This is why i simply don't update drivers. Right now everything is running fine and i'm using like 6 month old drivers.

1) My card is a 6600 GeForce, i doubt new drivers will make a difference for it - all the new drivers are for the 7/8 series cards
2) Like i said, everything is fine
3) Number 1 is the main one though

my 6800GT (AGP) that I had on my first computer build was a beast, I loved it. It died however, because I made a stupid mistake when I was blowing the dust out of it with a CO2 blower. It got replaced with an x800GTO (AGP). I had so many issues with that card's stability, even on a fresh install of windows. It just sucked.

Now that I had the money to finance my own computer build, I got an 8800gtx. It's had a few issues, but all have been smoothed out with driver releases.

I've been noticing BAD issues. Textures going completely black, have to alt tab and its good for another 2 minutes or so in which case I have to alt tab again.

Tonight on basrah 32p a load of us had wierd problems. the minimap was dissapearing, sometimes our screens went black, the text in clickable boxes on the select spawn/team page was garbled. and that was after I rolled back my drivers!
