I think this is a fantastic idea, although I think armed is right, I doubt it would pass into the geneva convention haha.

It would. They aren't prisoners, so you don't have to give their religion consideration. And you can't prove it causes "uneeded suffering".

Typical of the US. In any case, the soldiers that fight in Iraq and Afghanistan are already going to hell, because "Thou shalt not kill" right? So it's fair game.

No our god makes an exception, because he is the "right" god

Just kidding, I'm not religious, and Although I hear there is no such thing as an athiest in a foxhole I'm sure there are a variety of soldiers who beleive in a variety of religions so the "thou shalt not kill" would only affect some of them.

When you leave the service and have killed loads of insurgents, turn to god truly repent and he will forgive, so you are safe, but yeah good idea.
