British forces arnt as vast but i think there training makes up for it. Our soldiers are the most diciplined and loyal troops around imo.
People dont realise what some of our guys go through. I know an ex SAS guy who now is in active duty of training the SAS - he was in iraq leading small SAS groups in and out. He said they spoke to locals in iraq and the told them that they had no wish to fight against the britsh they actually patrolled areas for weeks on end and never saw any sustained forces - they would just disapeer in to the hills. As soon as american forces came to stabalize the area they were ambushed.

He is currently training chosen groups from the SAS survival and living techniques on Mt Everest. Last time we heard from him he mentioned hed allready 'cracked a few out of the course'

I work in a triathlon shop and thats where Roger got to know him from. hes a kinda fitness 'freak'.

Over 9 or so years hes known him thats all hes ever told him about, oh and he has a little tin box or somthing that he keeps under his bed with some of his stuf he kept. "kill box"

Next time hes in i might ask him some more stuff about iraq.

i get so tired of these international bragging things, the brits think there better than the US the US think ther better than the brits the canadians think there as good as everyone, it gets sooo old the fact of the matter is everyone has stories about how hardcore there guys are, and you can write off most of them to being propaganda or an over inflated sense of national pride, when it boils down to it the brits and the US are about the same

Agree. I didn't really like when Terrible said that. I wouldn't have even if he said it about American's or any other race.

yeah, the brits and the americans have been fighting side by side since 1917 and still are, ok there armed forces are very different bbut thats why it works so well. its just when comes to games, tv series and movies us brits feel a bit leftout so some people feel bitter towards america. but really its the fault of our own directors/game makers/tv companies that they cant be bothered to make there own tributes to the british in ww2.
