And erm, you might want to add Rhino, Duckhunt and er...Trogdor on that list (thats cuase trog is 10million times worse)

Just to add to the thread, i dont think it would make much a difference, cause if people are having problems with downloading it and need help then were are they to go if the forums are closed ? i like the idea about leaving only the General Discussion forum open. That way if anyone needs help then they can go there! and all the people that have the mod already can post their SS and make us people with slow download speeds suffer.

Or the Devs could just "hide" a couple of the forums leaving only the General and Bugs ones visible in order to have peoples reactions.

As I said before, its not the number of people posting that becomes a problem, its the sheer number of people visiting the site, compounded by posting.

I doubt locking off the other parts of the forums would prevent the site from going down, unless you can get people to not visit the main page as well.

what about having a index page like I said? Or even redirecting it to a page that shows all the download links and a faq and then a email for support
