Oh I watched this, and it is very awsome and extremely entertaining. I love how they go into all the details of what was going to happen in the mission, what really happened, and how the Delta guys tried to fix it.

still watching it, some nitpicks:
-they mention a 50cal on a humvee and show someone with an m60?
-rpg is not short for FRIGGIN ROCKET PROPELLED GRENADE - AND ITS NOT AS WEAK AS A GRENADE

Dunkellic ..... the RPG thing ...you have to get over it.
It drove me crazy for over 20 years explaining it .... just give up and let them live in anti armor nomenclature ingnorance.
It's very interesting to watch this again with all the events that have happened afterward to give a different perspective.

RPG is the Russian acronym for "Ruchnoy Protivotankovy Granatomyot" which translated to english means "handheld anti-tank rocket-launcher". Rocket propelled grenade is simply a mistranslation

I have seen the translation as " Handheld anti armor grenade launcher", or something like that but it did have grenade in the name.
My bitch is how he explains it as a grenade on a rocket,,, implying it will explode by itself and throw a lot of shrapnel in the air.

I don't know if it's in the documentary (haven't watched it yet), but did you know that for the movie they had to change the name of Josh Hartnett's character in order to get military support (and use of military hardware, pilots, and training)? They found out later that the guy was a pedophile, and after that the military wanted nothing to do with him.

EDIT: Yep, you're right. John Grimes = Army Ranger John Stebbins. It seems that in addition to liking coffee, he had a thing for 12-year-old girls, and is serving a 30 year term.
