In addition, never fly with a russian airline...
They really suck...experienced it twice. I went to the toilet during a 3h flight between francfurt and St. Petersburg. When I went back, suddenly a horrible sirene sounded through the whole plane...freaking scary if you are 10000m above the ground. Then the alert stopped ...and started again 10 minutes later. To be honest, I shoulda known this before entering the plane...it looked kinda old...and the interiour had some...1950s touch. There were flowers on the inside of the cabine, I felt like IŽd visit my grand-parents. Quote:

I used to live in China. I went to Tibet once. Worst. Plane. Ever. And I've taken some shitty flights. I never thought the Ho Chi Minh City ---> Phnom Penh flight would get off the runway, same with the Hai Long Bay ---> Hue flight. But the one to Tibet was really bad. It was like being in a metal tube with shitty old deskchairs bolted to the metal floor, with the whole thing vibrating so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. Fun times.

There are a whole bunch of comments beneath the link pic and it's not really clear if this was a Taiwanese plane or a PRC plane.
I don't think you can judge an entire country based on the conditions of the engines of one plane. |
