Fair enough about america and china etc all polluting the environment, but the proof that CO2 is responsible for any sort of climate change is simply non-existant.

Seriously, how many of you have actually heard proper scientific proof that CO2 has any affect on the climate? Most of what you hear is psuedoscience pumped out by media and news corporations, that CO2 is a greenhouse gas that traps heat that would otherwise radiate out into space. In reality, CO2's ability to trap heat is very limited, and only accounts for less than 10% of the greenhouse effect with the major culprit for any sort of greenhouse effect being water vapour. At this current time CO2 makes up about 0.035% of the atmosphere, and water vapour takes up about 1% to 4% (highly variable, but still a vast amount more than CO2). So all this about carbon dioxide being the major contributor to greenhouse gases and climate change is just bunk im afraid.

Sorry about this tyrade but it just irritates me to hear people churn out bollocks that the media has stated at them to sell papers etc.

Oh and yes, im paid by fossil fuel comapnies

Surrendered, yes. But we were absolutely downed. No doubt about that. It’s just a fact isn’t it?

And fact is that the Danish King commanded the few mobilised Danish military units fighting the Germans, to surrender.
And the King did that when Goering deployed hundreds of bombers above Copenhagen, while a German diplomat was meeting the King, thoughtfully reminding him what happened to Warsaw the year before.

And while this meeting was going on, German infantry hidden on a ship in Copenhagen harbour attacked the royal palace defended by some light Danish infantry. So while this meeting was talking place with the King, there was literally urban war just outside of the meeting room in the Palace.

One Danish brigade commander disobeyed the royal surrender order and escaped with his brigade (numbering about 5000 soldiers) to Sweden.

On the Jutland peninsula we had only 500 soldiers fighting two full German division units, (Numbering about 20.000 soldiers) with a lot of amour. We fought them until the order to surrender came.

Our small air force was totally annihilated on the ground. Our fleet, which could have delayed the German reinforcements to Copenhagen, didn’t get to leave their port before the surrender order came.

Many Danish soldiers and officers was so shameful with the fact that they didn’t get to fight, that enough of them actually joined the nazi ranks, and formed a battalion in the German division unit, SS Wiking.

They fought mostly with this division unit on the eastern front, deployed from Leningrad sector to the Caucasus sector.

Many of those who survived faced anger against them from the population after the war.

To this very day the Danish government still tries to get the few remainders living in Germany delivered to Denmark and face trials for some of their actions under WWII.

But we were downed on a national scale. And on a historical scale too. No doubt about that.
---

After that dark day in Danish war history, the law changed completely. So now a Danish soldier does not need to i.e. surrender if his King or Queen orders him/her to do so.

And luckily for that, cause in 1995 one of our UN amour units attacked and defeated a Serbian infantry unit doing things in wasent allowed to do, on the Balkans. (allowed = according to international law)
Maybe the unit couldn’t have done that without this change in the law, cause then the Queen maybe would have intervened ordering it to retreat?

Well, guess it’s a matter of what u believe since there is no bulletproof evidence yet. And as far as i know, each side in that debate clams the medias to be the main factor shaping the opinion of the opposing believers.

But to me it’s not about proof but the question if we can afford not to do anything about CO2 pollution as long as we don’t have a proof?

But right as I went to close it, the latch holding it open ripped off and went flying, tearing a chunk of muscle on my hand off with it. I healed up fine, but it took forever. Quite the storm. This recent one must have been hardcore.
Some experience u got there. Shit.

Good point, but IMO, all the facts ive looked at and mulled over seem to point to it being a natural cycle. I read or heard an interesting piece somewhere about it being geological and that increased underground lava flows along the mid-atlantic ridge are increasing water temperature and evaporation. TBH i find that more believeable than CO2, theres just not enough evidence for the CO2 hypothesis, thats all

I apologise about that rampage of statement i made earlier, but it was for exactly this reason, so pepole have the other side to the story, you know?

Global warming is giving us nice warm weather in Canada too (well until a week ago). It's all nice and good until we all starve to death in a world famine...

The issue is how do we adapt to the changing climate because we can't change it.
Even if global warming is totally the fault of driving cars and we all buy bicycles tommorow we still have a climate that is not following traditional patterns and that will affect our agriculture for years to come. We can't all give up creating greenhouses gases no matter how shrill certain elements sound about the dangers.
We need to look at technologies that shield us from the climate more and shield our food making ablilties as well.
In other words, get yourself a hydroponic garden, useful as a hobby for the time being but perhaps a life saver in the near distant future.

there are loads of green technologies out there. All we need to upgrade them dramatically, is political will.

Yep, The winter has now arrived to Denmark too. Cold winds and frost. Dammit.

So, get out there and fire it up guys!

release some CO2 in the air so we on from North can get the mild winds back again.

Go go go!
