That was one windy day. My sister stupidly left a window open (but latched into it's open position). I heard it from downstairs and went up to check. When I saw it I went to close it. But right as I went to close it, the latch holding it open ripped off and went flying, tearing a chunk of muscle on my hand off with it. I healed up fine, but it took forever. Quite the storm. This recent one must have been hardcore.
i can only speak for germany but it was really hardcore...
Too bad that I can`t see my parents anyway

Calculations about the damage it caused are not finished, but it will be above 2 bil. €.
Additionally, like 11 people died here

Yeah, 5 died in The Netherlands. Mostly from falling trees I think. A friend of mine had her garden shed destroyed because a branch broke from a tree and fell through the roof of it. I survived without any damage though.

Is anything happening in Sweden? I think we're missing a lot of community members from Stockholm, especially BlakeJr. It'd suck if he died...

He was still owing two skins!

Obesity has been called an epidemic in the US so it's not like we can defend against that charge.
I consider myself to be gravity enhanced .......... not fat.

Chances are he just blew up his computer (again). Still, I would've thought he'd find a way to let us know... Mysterious.

Hi guys. Haven't been able to respond on the thread before today.

First just let me apologize to anyone feeling offended of by me calling Americans for fat. It wasn’t my attention to insult anyone. Maybe the fat problem is a taboo in America – probably naive of me not to take that into consideration before I wrote it.

Anyway, today it’s just a fact that about 60% of all American citizens are being overweight and/or fat.
An overweight/fat person in general uses either cooling or heating systems more than a person who is not overweight/fat. And because the American energy sector isn’t a green one yet, these people contribute more than others to the global warming, which now seem to have an affect on the weather where I live.

So, when that is said, I wasn’t being sarcastic when thanking the Americans, the Chinese and the Indians All three nations are contributing to pollution and global warming in a scale no other is doing on our planet.
And I actually like that the cold winter I lived with all my live here, seems to be history now. It’s really nice.

Instead we got more stormy and windy weather now. But they aren’t cold, and I rather have that than the cold.

Second, the thing about the Norwegian guy, or entrepreneur if u will, Lauri Veneay who is going to develop bio diesel from American human fat is true.

He is negotiating a deal now with the US hospital corporation, Jackson Memorial.

Could only find a Norwegian article about it:

Q: What has WWII to do with fat people, pollution and weather changes?

Well, Goering was fat, ammunition polluted the environment, and weather screws up war-time plans.

I'm sure that's not what you meant though.

Well when talking about the weather there is: Heavy rain and storm. Also a section of an entire road collapsed some weeks ago now. Think that the heavy rain had something to do with it, not entirely sure though.
