Musicians and Music Whores

Who on the forums plays an instrument, is in a band, has more then 30GBs of music or their computer, or is just a good old fashioned record collector?

I play the electric guitar, including one I made my self for my GCSE Resistant Materials (wood/metal work) course work.

Here they are, my Rikter Strat and home made Malteese Cross



The MC has the bits from various guitars, mostly an epiphone les paul (it was defective, I didnt kill a perfectly good one!). The thing is solid mahogany with a scratched aluminium scratch plate. Sadly, her neck has been knocked out of alignment, so she sounds crap ATM. Mind you, I was never that good...

I played the trumpet for many years, was a double high C man, but living in an apartment put an end to that...and what a ball and chain brass instruments are. But now I'm into baroque and transition music ( the transition between renaissance and baroque music) and sometimes I like acid house and such...I've a pretty good collection of early music.

Im not a hardcore kind of fella when it comes to music, for the exception of Rage against the Machien. Mainly enjoy the music of the 60's, 70's and it all fell apart at the 80's for me. Im quite expansive in musical taste. Will listen from Barch to NWA, and most in between.

Current UK music sucks.....the Music of the 60's was trampy musicains with good music. now its trampy musicians with trampy music.

I play the guitar, bass guitar(primarily), Double Bass, used to play 'African precussion' and do a little amature harmonica about the house.

Im am in a Funk Band with some other student friends and enjoy it. We get a few gigs when ever we look for them.

I play oboe, piano, many different recorders, tin whistle, clarinet. And a bit of guitar, although I don't actually have one.

What I listen to... Mainly progressive rock/metal, and then a bit of folk rock, some baroque (classical), jazz and occasionally some death metal. A bit of a weird mix, really.
