War Rock Game
What do you think about this game?
It has various mods/versions and some are similar to Battlefield while some to CS And it is for "free". http://www.warrock.net/ |

I have not tried it but I hear it sucked.
Besides, I already have BF2 and Warrock does not have PR! |

Yeh its a free game, I played it once for a night and got bored. It is very arcade like but it is alright i guess for a free game.

Checked out the website. If I didn't have BF2, I'd play it. But I do, and BF2 has PR. So what's the point. Also, what's their gimick? How do they stay afloat? Advertising? Volunteer developers?

You can buy addons, new weapons and similar I think.
But I have not read anything about squad based teamplay, VOIP etc which I like in BF2-PR. If I want to play arcade I play Tremulous (also a free game)  |

Im sure I tried that out a while ago, wasn't great. It's kinda like a bad BF2.

Feels more arcade than even BF2 does to me. I didn't play for long. (Though the last time I played was months ago)
