Thinking on, I think the reason why the game was good was like any other new game - no one has worked out the exploits, the lame things you can do to get an edge. It was vBF2 at its best pure and simply.

Gulf of oman is still my fav bf2 vanilla map. I could always snipe untouched, blackhawk pilot, tv chopper whore, jet whore, apc whore, or tank whore all over the same map.

The best thing about the demo was that no one stat padded or did all that stuff that made vBF2 gay. No C4 bunny hopping noobs. Just people having fun.

I liked the demo, and *GASP* i actually experianced alot of teamwork with it! people using mics and fuctioning together in a squad. it was great.
i played POE up until the morning that you could DL the BF2. |
