I think the game is fabulous, the potential is limitless, but the performance issues really need to be worked out.

Unoptimized beyond belief.

That's how I felt about it. REally BF2 is pretty good when you have it modded with PR...It's not totally realistic but then you wouldn't want to lose and eye or a foot anyway...so what you want is good tactical play...good squad interaction, and satisfying graphics....there I said it; I'm a graphics junky..

I like PR 1000x better than AA...it's fun...damned fun. What more do you want? And the vehicles are all better too. If I want air war I'll go play LOMAC...Black Shark will be unreal. Oleg Maddox is a genius...

i love this game, i got the demo and its great, ive maxed everything and it plays alot smoother than bf2 for me.

i have had alot better teamwork expirences on it than PR IMHO espesially on the co-op mode.

my only issue is the AI on the easy mode, they just sit there waiting for you to come to them.

i found the co-op city clearing extremely fun, and honestly i cant wait till this comes out in Feb, right after all my course work is due so it will be a nice treat for my self.

I mean isnt it obvious now with new games you are going to need a fairly better system? People who think games are going to hang back for them to catch up are sadly mistaken

I love the game myself, the possibilities for it are endless, you really do just need to get use to the way it plays because it is totally different from BF2. Fair enough it'll be at its best after a few patches perhaps even this next patch will be much better.

I have a medium/low system in nowadays perspective but I absolutely love the game now.

and skelator what do you mean it doesnt have a squad system? It does to, just depends on the mission/game type. In fact I could argue the squad system is much better than BF2 because it is

PR still rules though

You're a noob

Although I love WW2OL, this game feels almost exactly like it... but it's been 6 years since WW2OL came out.

its based of Operation flash point which is even older and thats no bad thing

the latest patch apparently changes

5115 - Optimized: Somewhat reduced frame rate hit caused by bushes and trees on Normal, Low and Very Low shading detail settings.

5115 - New: Terrain Detail now controls grass detail as well (can be used to turn off the grass if you set terrain detail on very low) NOTE: in MP this is controlled by the server only

5115 - Fixed: Terrain detail settings not working properly - could introduce holes on lower settings.
5115 - Fixed: Scene preloading could take long or never end with Shading detail Low or Very low
5115 - Improved: Reduced object LOD switching.
5115 - Optimized: General CPU optimization (only armademo.exe, it was already present in the full version)

which probly fixes some of the problems you guys where having.
