Is a physical deformity actually called "physical retardation"? It seems to me that "retardation" implies an arrested development. What if development is normal in pace, but deviates somehow?

I only ask because it seems you have some background in medicine. If not, nevermind.

I worked in a hospital for 9 month...with physically retarded children. Not medicine but personal experience.
You are right, excuse my bad english, but physical deformation would be a more correct expression.
What is also nothing someone should be laughing about...

BTW: I did not moan about all the pics, some where really funny...just leave out some pictures showing physically retardet/deformated people and I am fine with this.
