BF-Korea mod, Check it out!
Ok guys im starting this thread to give you guys an idea about the mod, the mod is based around the Korean war from 1950 to 1953, the mods main goals are to create a totally historically acurate and realistic mod wich is fun to play. In the first relaease the devs are going to try and incorporate this stuff listed in the quote below and much much more later on in developement. Most of the information is listed on their site http://www.bf-korea.com/.
This was given to me by Zefan, a dev from the Bf-korea, this is just a small list that outlines the basics of what will be in. Quote:
That is just a small taste of what will be in, like alot more weapons, and more factions maybe, but thats what is planed for now. Also some of you may have heard that the mod is dead, well thats just not true, the mod is still being created, its just taking a very long time because the team is small, but it has a Backstage Area for registered forum-users, which is similiar to a dev-diary and stuff, where diferent stuff is shown from the developement. So i sugest all of you check the mod out at their site,http://www.bf-korea.com/, and see if you like it, if so join the forums and help create a larger comunity. Sorry if i repeated myself a few times, just trying to get the mod more known. | |

It's going to be a good mod, and great work so far especially under the aspect that the Devs are only six guys.

And let's hope it will have the M14...that would be so cool...
Oh wait...did the M14 even make it into the Korean conflict? |

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Basicaly, the weapons used were from ww2, like the M1 Garand, the BAR, Springfield, greasegun, and such things, and also some stuff made after the war like the first fighter jets and helicopters, the Bell-47, the F-96 sabre, and the Mig- 15, but it was totally diferent than ww2 thats for sure.
