Don't have a paid subscription to Jane's (unfortunately), but - Pakistan - mark my words, will become one of the biggest threats in the not-too distant future - the ISI (Inter Services Intelligence - the main Intel organisation in Pak) is in bed with the Fundamentalists - Musharraf will not be holding the reigns (however lightly that may be) forever and Pakistan will become a dynamo of opposition to the west with military, government and religious backing...

That is disgusting. Although on the humorous side - bringing rock and rap stars to celebrate
his daughter's bat mitzvah (and through it her "coming of age") is funny because those boys make a lifestyle of deflowering young women.

Heh. My guess is there are US spooks/ops all over the nuke sites there and at least one sub near enough to give some rapid deployment. A coup that was not quashed or contained would have to be dealt with as a direct threat. Some small tactical nukes to hit the approximate areas where the Pakistani nukes are kept while not destroying them will keep them from falling in the wrong hands. The Pakistani leaders are keen people and I am sure they are aware that this would be the US response to such an uprising.

The ISI maybe doing the US bidding but they are not fools. They keep the tribes happy too. I will second the wish for subscription to Jane's. Good stuff.
