I really wonder if it would be televised? Not that I want to watch the grisly spectacle of anyone being "hung by the neck til ye be dead", in all honesty. I think it'd be a low "Saddam-esque" thing to do. Let him be executed with no spectacle whatsoever, just an announcement "At X-O'Clock Saddam Hussein was executed by hanging & pronounced dead at Y-O'Clock. The End".

I think thats about what happenend.
Fox News is reporting (tv, not on internet yet) that Saddam was killed about 10 minutes ago, so at nearly exactly 6 AM Baghdad time. Repeat: Fox News says SADDAM IS DEAD. Edit: Al-Jazeera has it on the ticker on thier website, saying the news is unconfirmed. |
