Default Best Shootout ever?

Just went onto youtube and found my favourite scene from my favourite film, HEAT. Watch it, its truly stunning (those sounds are extreme!)

Scenes of blood, violence and swearing.

Don't muzzle flashes happen on some pistols? (At least the Glock 17).

If you look at the end of the credits at the end of the movie, you can see in very small print ( just after "No animals where hurt during this movie" )

"Only a couple hundred innocent bystanders where shot to smithereens in the shoot out scene"

muzzle flashes hardly ever happen in real life on normal files, like 1 out of 50 shots has a flash or something?

I actually saw this movie at the cinema. When i watched it later on the small screen it lost most of its impact. it is definitely a cinema experience!

The adrenalin watching this scene was incredible. I hadn't read any reviews of the movie really before watching it so when this particular robbery took place I got the full effect!

muzzle flashes with 5.56mm rifles with flash eliminaters don't tend to be seen. you more see a puff of smoke come out the end. With blanks, however, you get that massive muzzle flash.
