Is it worth the cost?

How is the community?

Can i run this on a gaming rig?

Should i wait for VBS2?

That game looks awsome but nobody is about to pay several hundred dollars just to play it for fun.

isnt that more of a combat simulator rather than a game, its the offspring of OFP i belive save your pennies and get Armed assult if its ever realsed out side of germany

FYI; VBS1 is not a modification.
It is a tool made for the military by BIS.
You can buy several addon-packs which come with loads of cool things.

I say download WGL for OFP or wait for WGL ArmA. VBS was mehh..

the real question is can those maps be used in ArmA ?

I believe it is possible to import OFP/VBS1-maps to ArmA with some alterations to the maps.

If I recall it correctly; BIS has built ArmA on the same engine and code-base as they did OFP/VBS1. So getting your mods going in ArmA shouldn't be all that hard.

But it goes way over my head anyway.
