ArmA vs PR vs Americas Army

Now this isn't a question of what's better or anything like that. It's just how does your average round compare between the three games? I've never played OPF and I only played a little AA.

This is my idea that I have built of of ArmA (I'm planning on getting it to see what all the fuss is about) after hearing about it and watching the trailer.
Huge maps must take a bit of time to get from point A to point B. I don't know what kind of objecives are in the game, or how vehicles or lives go (respawning and such). Attack enemies in full force maybe wuicker helis and planes take out what the can in beginning? Grunts left over to fight.

AA played like this from what I know:
1 life, might die in the first 30 seconds. everyone tosses grenades like crazy in the beginning. I don't know what else, that's all I ever experianced when I played AA to be honest. It was as bad as MoH.

And of course PR I don't have to explain.

So where does ArmA fall with these three? Or is there another game that it compares to better?

I can't help but love my pretty graphics in BF2, but for the sake of change I can't wait to try out those huge maps in ArmA.

I've lost my taste for AA completely, it's not the military simulation it claim's. Server's are full of guy's that know all the little trick's you need to know to survive.

OFP can be brilliant but in all the time's I've been online I've only come across it once or twice. ArmA has that potential too I guess, probably best to let all the kiddie's get it out their system before you even try though.

PR is the most consistent for teamwork I find, alot of OFP player's will shout at me for that but whenever I jumped into an OFP server it was 30 indivdual soldier fighting their own little war. The fact that it has VOIP built into it mean's people don't have to mess around with TS2 and you get alot more people on comms. Graphics and (most) sounds are excellent, lot's of top guy's playing that can have a laugh over comm's aswell as play seriously. It just work's. I dunno, I can't articulate exactly why I'm partial to PR, I just am.

I never played AA but I played OFP for 2 years until the public servers emptied out and it's about the players. I have heard and read great things about private OFP games and that seems to support that.
If the players in PR all went to ArmedAssualt it would be as good as PR because teamwork and fair play is what makes a wargame fun.
ArmA will be a capture the flag fragfest I think, but the private/clan servers will have some nice tight games.
The system req's seem very steep and that alone will keep me here until I upgrade and by then a new PR patch will be out so..... PR's the place to be.

To be great you must inflict suffering.
It is not the ablility to suffer that makes men great.
Even women and slaves can attain mastery of that.
To inflict great suffering and not be overcome with distress and doubt when you hear the cries of suffering, that is great, a pact of greatness.

If you can run PR, you can run ArmA quite well. Trust me!

what cracks me up is camping in AA, which they call just sitting in one spot it is retarded. ArmA I hate it to many damn controls. PR is still #1 in my book..

Camping is a tactic, and an important one in that specific game. Honestly out of all of the games America's Army takes the most *skill*

I never liked AA, I can't stand 1 round games at all. All that happens is a grenade fest for the first two minutes, then everyone runs like a chicken without a head.
