Do NOT post in threads posted by bots.

There seems to be an issue currently where botaccounts are posting threads either with advertising, viruses, or just plain spam.

I ask you - do not reply to these unless you have a warning, for example to warn others not to click a link.

If you suspect it is a bot, then report it ASAP and either we'll see the report or see it ourselves, and it'll be gone.

The more you post in a thread, it reads the replies and the more you reply the more it'll spam. So just leave it, and report it.

We're working on this security issue and i'll keep you guys posted.

the easy answer is to introduce some sort of code verification on signup that cannot be read by the OCR processes these bot programs have.

That will block bot attacks, but not real human beings

Thats the plan. Waiting on Requiem.

But for the mean time, don't post in the threads. If another member posts, don't reply to say "omgdon't do that omg!!". just report it and walk away.

I told them that one day the aliens will send down robots to live amongst us, identical, undetectable. These brainwashing, invader robots have been compromised and they shall be vanquished! WHOS WITH ME?!
