MSN virus

Guys watch out there is a virus going around that is pretending to be a picture in MSN it will send a message like "Your in this picture" and give you a download but you are downloading an MS Dos batch file be warned it is a bitch to remove and i got it last night and am still coming across the remenants of it.

Old, like 3 weeks.

I clicked it and lo and behold, firefox tells me its a .pif file. No thanks.

System restore sorts it

the actual message is "OMG is this you (virus address)" once you click it you are infected.

and the files bed in as un movable and un delete able.

Edit: it will also install something called an "8888bar" into Ie and fire fox this blocks access to sites that provide help.

This is merely an old virus, only back and with a vengeance

Beware, once you click on the link ur basically fucked, and then YOU become the host to it, and start sending that link to other without u even knowing... sorta like Aliens, but a lost nastier if there is such a thing
