I dont really want to grow a beard, some of my mates are well into it but I think it looks a bit trampy unless you do it right. Maybe if I was a captain in the Navy I might though....

And Hitperson, the British army/ navy/ air force does not allow facial hair, piercings or tatoos (Modern times)

I think you can have Facial Hair in the british army, well back in the 1950's.
