What an overreaction this is precisely the sort of thing he should be saying to them. |

You're forgetting we live in an age of over sensitivity and censorship.

The Supreme Court is actually slightly more conservative than it has been in a while, with the resignation of O'Connor. I blame laziness on the part of the Police Officers themselves, had they taken it like men then this wouldn't be an issue.
And maybe I missed it but I don't see anything about a lawsuit in there, just looks like he was forced out because of discontent. So a 'Liberal' justice system doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. In any case, it is very difficult to see those who have sworn to protect and serve their community as being unable to keep proper care of themselves. |

There is a decent rise in the level of activist judges, but I figure that's natural as for a while now Congress has been atleast moderately conservative. If the Democrats gain control of Congress I wouldn't be too suprised to see the Judicial slide more towards the right, maybe it just follows the check and balance deal. But that's speculation on my part so who knows.
