Default Hawken (Indy Mech FPS) - Closed Beta signups

YouTube Video

Hawken developers just began closed beta signups; test itself begins this coming December. The game will be on a Free-to-Play model. Pretty striking stuff for an independent team.

Thats actually pretty cool.
The last years were pretty silent on all these MECH games...there were so many of them in the 90's.
The only game I can remember is a modification for crysis.

Oh man, Chromehounds was so awesome. Would love a sequel with a focus on larger battles...imagine going 32v32 in that.

Definately, was fun coming up with new designs and pitting them against the ai hounds too. Those were actually pretty good all things considered.

Signed up a couple of days ago, suddenly sad I don't have my joystick with me at uni.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!
