Some people (including myself) are getting Battlefield 3 for console for 2 reasons;

1. We do not have a gaming PC for high edge games such as Battlefield 3, I got my computer for school, so I can only play 2005 (ish) games like Project Reality and ARMA I

2. I personally know more people who play on console. Like seriously, no one has ever heard of PC gaming before where I live.

Also in my opinion, I think 64 player servers is a bit crowded for Battlefield 3 maps, the switching in and out of Battlelog will probably get annoying, PS3 gets DLC first (only a week but whatever).

But the PC edition has it's ups as well.

I too will be getting it on console, purely because I find it more enjoyable and less serious, can just sit on my sofa, relax with a beer, some chips and chill out and get my ass kicked on a huge TV.

Although I am severly torn of what to buy.

I can only get 1 game from now til christmas, and figured ill get Skyrim and Arkham City for christmas (since I got my Student Loan, ive bought so much stuff and clothes, there is hardly anything left for people to buy me!).

That leaves MW3 and BF3 available to buy right away.

I have a feeling I would enjoy MW3 more as I really am dying to see the campaign, and would hate for it to be revealed on the internet (not to mention ive bought every recent COD on day 1).

I would probably play BF3 online more, but the beta left a pretty sour taste in my mouth as it was so spammy.

Help!!!!

It'll be fine on release day, plus beta didn't have Hardcore which cuts back on the spammyness ala BC2.

So there is actually a hardcore mode in BF3? Will it be like 1-2 shot kills as in COD Hardcore? I dont remember BC2 nor BC1 having a HardCore mode?

BC2 has hardcore.

They do. And I don't think bullets hurt more in HC mode, you just get less help so to speak, as in less info clogging up your screen.

I would be very shocked if there wasn't. Its a trend to include HC now since most popular mods for early games were essentially just hardcore modes. (Early PR was what most HC game modes are today).

Yeah BC2 does have hardcore. Limited HUD and extra bullet dammage for weapons. Which pretty much elimates spam as it's a fast way to die. BF3 I imagine more so with bi-pods that actually work ^^

Your bullets were the same its just your health was 60% on HC in BC2
