I will start with a bunch of German weird inventions.
The P-1000 was going to be the biggest tank ever.

wow, I'd forgotten about that thing. I want one!

But it's practically a mobile fortress of doom, they shoulda gone the whole way and added rooms, armouries and such. Made it into a land cruiser lol

Kinda make it like the giant transformer 'Metroplex' that could turn into the autobots main base

Also Metroplex was the defender of the autobots main base he was however a small part of Autobot city not autobot city himself.

I first found out about this from company of heroes but I was amazed to find out it was a real weapon. Basically it was a remote control bomb used by the Germans against the allies. In total more than 7,500 were produced.

Yes but the Axis gave up on the Goliath idea early in the war becuase it went so slow and the Allied soldiers had to only shoot it or chuck a granade at it and it was toast.... If it could somehow of gone faster then maybe it could have been a more valuable asset, but they decided that artillary was better than a slow moving bomb...

But this thing developed back in the 1950s I think has to be the wierdest tank killer/Anti air vehicle ever developed, its so small for a "tank"! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ontos
The link has way more information on it, and if you look for it they had this vehicle back in Battlefield Vietnam! It owned all the other tanks! Wierdest thing is, I believe the Ontos actually had military service back in 1956, and it ended service back in 1969, with the US Marines, and some forestry department has a working Ontos tank that the owner demonstrates how it works every now and then. ( Yes I know that demonstrates is spelled wrong... )

Edit: Ah hah! The working Ontos is in Vine Grove, Kentucky! I know where I want to go for a vacation now!

Animal they didn't make the P-1000 and 1500 because these inventions were coming toward the end of war when they knew they were going to lose but were coming up with ways to stave of defeat.
