It's not lol.

Google is just freaking out because they turned down an offer from MySpace.com to acquire MySpace. A couple of months after Rupert Murdoch bought MySpace it was labelled as the #1 trafficked site on the internet, first time that's not been Google in a long time.

Cheers!

I say they shouldn't do it. YouTube can make more money than $1.6bil if they last long enough.

.

Under normal circumstances, everybody pwns Griffon, in Soviet Russia, Griffon pwns EVERYBODY!

This is kind of the way I feel myself; I like the difference between Google Video and You Tube...you go to You tube for a music video or something cool, you go to Google Video for something more serious, like a full length interview or lecture on some public service matter. Google will probably ruin You Tube just on it's enforcement of copyright alone, something You Tube blithely ignores.

Agreed. I also don't like Google Video because it pails in comparison to YouTube besides a few things which are full length videos or interviews, but there are ways around this on YouTube. I just don't like the way Google Video is run at all and if they get their hands on it, I believe they will ruin YouTube as well. There should also be competition or else another site will pop up to compete with them.
